No. A quote request only starts the pricing. Your quote email has a link to book online: choose your option, confirm addresses and access, and accept the terms. The confirmation email that follows is your booking.

Most 2-bedroom local moves with two movers and a truck land between $600 and $1,100, call-out included, depending on access and distance. Your quote breaks that down before you book — the rate, the minimum, any weekend or public holiday rate.

Only the costs the day itself creates: waiting time, parking fees and permits, tip or disposal fees, any parking fine the truck gets on your job and, on an hourly move, road tolls. They're charged as incurred. A fixed price includes its tolls. Hourly moves bill for the hours they take, and anything that wasn't on your quote — a piano, a marble table — is priced before it's loaded, and only travels if you agree.

Yes, and there is no cancellation fee whenever you tell us — a call or a message is enough. There is no deposit either, so nothing is held and there is nothing to refund. We ask for 48 hours’ notice so the crew can be re-booked; inside that, tell us as soon as you can and we will help you move to the next available date that suits.

The crew, the truck, all the equipment, and furniture protection — blankets, wrap and padding. Disassembly and reassembly of furniture is part of the moving service at no extra cost. It is the same whether the job is hourly or a fixed interstate price.

The clock starts when the crew arrives at the pickup address and stops when the job is finished and you have confirmed it. Local moves have a 2-hour minimum, then run in 30-minute increments. The call-out fee is charged separately — a 30-minute minimum covering our travel to and from the job. The crew’s meal and rest breaks are not charged.

Stairs, lifts and any lift booking window, how far the truck will have to park from the door, low clearances and steep driveways — at both addresses. A truck needs roughly 10–12 metres of kerb. Lift bookings and loading docks are yours to arrange; if the building asks for our certificate of insurance, we send it.

Yes — +$20 an hour on weekends and +$40 an hour on NSW public holidays, shown on your quote before you book.

Interstate moves to ACT, VIC and QLD — Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane/Gold Coast and surrounds — are quoted as one fixed price, door to door. Quoted off your inventory and held to it — anything beyond what you listed we discuss before loading, never after.

Furniture protection is standard on every move — wrapping, padding and careful handling by a hand-picked crew. We carry public liability and goods-in-transit insurance. Like every transit policy it has limits: it does not cover items packed by you, flat-pack or pressboard furniture, internal damage to electronics, mechanical or electrical failure, cash, jewellery and documents, or pre-existing damage and normal wear. Where our handling causes the damage, we remain responsible whether or not insurance covers it. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are unaffected.

No — we don’t run a storage facility. We do move people into and out of storage units they have arranged; tell us the facility, the unit’s floor and its lift or trolley access when you ask for the quote.
