Waterloo is eighth on our list — 103 pickups since 2012, a short run from our Kingsford depot. Most of them are apartment moves: the towers around Danks Street and Green Square, and the older terraces in between. We turn up knowing how the buildings work.
What moving in Waterloo actually involves.
Tower moves and lift slots
Many of the newer buildings here want the lift booked and padded for a move. You make the booking with your building manager; we time the crew to the slot and bring our certificate of insurance if the building asks for it.
Loading docks off busy roads
Many buildings here have a loading dock off Botany Road or Danks Street. Book it with your building manager, tell us the time, and we'll have the crew there for it.
The terrace pockets
Between the towers, the older terraces around Pitt and George Streets are classic tight-hall moves — furniture wrapped inside and carried with care.
“…they handled my belongings with great care and ensured that everything arrived safely and on time.”
